Incredible Universe Evolution Simulation Videos

COLIBRE project videos

This page contains some fantastic videos of simulations of the evolution of various structures that exist in our universe. These videos were made by the COLIBRE project—a project that creates "hydrodynamical simulations [which] model the formation and evolution of galaxies in representative volumes starting from cosmological initial conditions."

The most wonderful thing about these simulations is that they are all mathematics. Nothing else comes close to the power that mathematics has when attempting to explain our universe. Seriously, mathematics is a source of truth that does not fail.
