Fusion Power Hype Exposed

Fusion power experience rates are overestimated

The common joke about fusion power is that it is always 30 years away. New fusion power companies have taken advantage of the scientific ignorance of politicians and received large chunks of taxpayer money with promises that they will be able to make practical fusion power plants within just a few years. Stupid politicians have fallen for these promises and siphoned money away from supporting renewable energy systems that are practical and cost-effective right now. These imbeciles perceive renewable energy systems as being woke, and they don't like it that renewable energy systems are decentralized and can be constructed outside of the systems owned and operated by the current energy cartel.

This article examines the two most common approaches to fusion power: magnetic fusion and inertial fusion. Its results show that it is likely that neither approach will ever be able to compete with renewable energy systems when it comes to cost. It suggests that new approaches to fusion power should be explored, but the new fusion power companies stealing money from taxpayers have no real new approach to fusion. All they propose are simple variations on the magnetic fusion and internal fusion themes even though new approaches to fusion power do exist. However, the cost of pursuing any of these new approaches is unknown and possibly (probably) no better than the cost of either magnetic fusion or internal fusion.
