The mathematics of Gerd Faltings explained by Timandra Harkness

This is a really nice video which gives the viewer a decent idea of what the work of Gerd Faltings (winner of the 2026 Abel Prize) is all about. It starts out rather slow and basic, but it progresses to an interesting state by the time it ends. This is an excellent video for a general audience.
